Well, I’ve been at it again. I remember drooling over these shirts from katie did when I first started reading blogs. If you’ve never been to her site, you should drop in (even though she’s currently not blogging).
So it was time that I tried it out myself. Of course it’s pretty easy to jump in when you’re making a small top and using $2/yard fabric.
I’m pretty happy with the fit, it’s pretty snug, but I’m going to try out another round with some adjustments and see how it goes.
I’ll have to put it on hold until later because Friday I’m guest posting on Grosgrain for her fabulous free pattern month, so excited and honored to join in!
Wow, you are very talented! I love the fabric!
Such a cute shirt! Can’t wait to see what you post on Friday!
What a cute top and beautiful pictures! Your little girl is adorable.
I wouldn’t mind having this top in my size. 🙂
Good job-you even matched your plaids at the seams-something most people are unaware of! Looks good~
Very cute! I love bargain fabric. 🙂 It’s nice to see bloggers making garments out of “regular” fabric sometimes! The designer fabric is adorable but out of my price range a lot of times.
SO sweet! I wish I could look that cute. 😉
This is adorable!
So retro!!
Love it
Nice shirt,
I like you’re blog!

Great job, love the design and the fabric you used!

gorgeously simple, Anna. I loove the plaid! and cant wait to see what pattern you’ve come up with!
i love it. I love the plaid.. so soft and lovely! what pattern did you use?
Anna,
The shirt is great! What pattern did you use?
When she posted those shirts I made some of my own as well! Love the style. Very, very cute.
Super, super cute! You did a great job! I sure do miss Katie Did’s blog…it was so inspirational.
oh, that’s perfect for summer! I love the little pleat in the front. I’ve been looking for woven shirt ideas for the girls, and this fits the bill. That Katie Did, she was/is pretty awesome, huh? I love how I’m still getting ideas from her even though she hasn’t blogged for something like 2 years.
So cute!! Your girls are lucky to have such a talented mommy who makes them adorable clothes!!:)
Super cute! you’re getting to be a whiz at this!
What a darling top on such a cute little girl. Great job!
Very lovely little top- so summery and cute.
darling!!! i think it would be an adorable tunic dress, too. just add a bit of length and continue the lines so that it has a bit of an A-line. so many possibilities!
