Everyday Essentials Booklet

Everyday Essentials Booklet - NoodleheadFor quite a while now I’ve been planning a fun little project in the background. I always wanted to do a little booklet of patterns. I love seeing things in print and I couldn’t stop thinking about this project. So here it is, a collection of 3 accessory patterns to sew and use: Everyday Essentials. This booklet contains three patterns you might already be familiar with as a PDF, but now together in print: the Wool + Wax Tote, Petal Pouch, and new Minimalist Wallet patterns.

You can read about the patterns individually here in these blog posts (Wool + Wax, Petal Pouch, Minimalist Wallet), so I won’t go into too much detail here over each individual project. Everyday Essentials is a 24-page full color booklet with a pattern pullout sheet that contains all the non-rectangular pattern pieces (with no enlarging needed!), the rectangular pieces of each pattern are found as listed measurements in the Cutting Instructions for each project like many of my other patterns. If you’re newer to using cut measurements for pattern pieces, here’s the three tools that are essential to finding success when cutting: Cutting Mat, Rotary Cutter, and Clear Ruler. They’re what I’ve used for over 10 years and I can’t imagine my sewing room without them.

I think the best part of these three projects in the booklet is that they all go together so well. They’re pretty quick to make and don’t use up too much fabric. And being a person who loves making gifts, I can truly say they make such fun and useful gifts.Everyday Essentials Booklet - NoodleheadEveryday Essentials Booklet - Noodlehead

I had so much fun sewing up the samples and taking all the photos. The layout of the booklet was also a fun puzzle to put together. It all came together in the end and I’m pretty happy with it.

You can purchase the booklet in my shop, or better yet, stop by your local quilt shop and ask if they have it. It’s arriving any day now to some shops and will trickle out to many more over the next few weeks. You can check out my stockist list here for shops near you that may have it. Oh, and because it’s that time of year, I’m going to upgrade any orders for the Everyday Essentials booklet (purchased from my shop) from First Class to USPS priority shipping. Applies to US orders only. No need to enter a code! Today through December 20th at Noon CST.

Thanks especially for the “no enlargement needed” aspect!! I think I only have the petal pouch pattern that’s in this booklet, so I may purchase one just because I LOVE your aesthetics! Snapped up a copy of your book the minute it appeared and it’s a total keeper!!

I have tried three times to purchase this from your shop, each time the shop reflects an add to the shopping cart but when I go to pay for the cart it is automatically emptied. Is there a problem with your shop website? This is a great little book and I would like to own one!

This looks really great! Will it be possible to purchase it also in Europe?
I really like your patterns and also have sewn few from you book.
    Have a lovely Christmas Time,
    Desiree

Yes! I do ship to Europe, although it might be cost prohibitive for you. Otherwise, I do have a couple shops that are ordering, perhaps there might be one near you? Bobbins & Bolts in the UK is one I know off the top of my head.

  8. Great job with this, Anna. How exciting! Best of luck! -Joe
