I told you I was going to try to make a fleet of these! Of course once Emily loved her Lulu dress, I promised Natalie I’d make her one. Even though the sizing goes up to 8, I felt like there was enough wiggle room that I would make it work for Natalie who is a 9/10. And there was! It fits her great.
I’ve been trying to make sure I dig through my garment fabric stash before I think I need to buy something new. It’s hard when there is always some new and fabulous designs I want to use. Maybe I’ll get to that point this summer were I can deplete my stash enough so I can sew with the new stuff right away! I find it really easy to buy a chunk of fabric and then let it sit and sit – even though I just couldn’t wait to have it.
This knit came from Wanderlust Fabrics, which I had found from friends I follow on Instagram. It’s a great little shop for knits. Of course using this only makes me want to go out and buy more knit fabric, but you know, old habits die hard.
