I so excited to finally announce a really awesome project I’m participating in: Project Sewn!

Of course I’ve known some of these ladies which seems like forever (hi all!), and a couple I’m just meeting, so it should be a really fun lineup!
I’ve been plotting and planning for weeks. Heavily utilizing my Super Secret board on Pinterest. Love that feature about Pinterest. I’ve been scouring and printing and cutting and taping and of course, sewing! But I admit I definitely need to do more of the sewing part.
I hope you’ll join us each week throughout the competition and cheer us on! And as the themes each week are announced you can join along and sew with us. Fun stuff!

Wow, sounds like an interesting project! Goodluck Anna, I’ll be cheering (and voting) for you! Dumb question… do the designers & people who sew along have to submit original designs (ie. your own pattern) or can you create a look with a purchased pattern? I’ve had a read of the Project Sewn info, but wasn’t sure on this. Thanks, Kelly
You can use a purchased pattern or use your own. 🙂 I think the main goal is to take it to the next level and get really creative. Oh, and have fun with it of course.
