Sewing

my anda dress

A little late in wrapping up this project, but I love it’s simple style.  Grosgrain did yet another fabulous Frock by Friday sew-a-long and it was just too fun to pass up.  I chose this beautiful print by Naomi Ito

And for the record it’s the most expensive piece of clothing I own now.  I think it’ll be really great in all seasons.  Maybe with a cardigan and tights for winter?

Love the way it turned out
and it makes me want to jump

jump
jump!

I love the dress and the cute photos! Now that I see everyone’s finished frocks, I wish I had participated in this one.

Did you use a double gauze? I have some Nani Iro double gauze that a friend brought back from Japan for me. I just can’t find the perfect patterns to justify cutting into it! (Well, except for 1 print. Which I made into a skirt, that I happen to be wearing right now!)
