Patterns, Classes, and a Fabric Winner

patternupdate

Whew, it’s been a lot of behind the scenes kinda stuff here lately. I just wanna sew!! Do you ever get that feeling? I’m excited for Thanksgiving this week, everyone’s coming over and it’s gonna be yummy!

I am working on updating a few older patterns. Kind of like what I did with the Envelope Clutch, just going over everything and making sure things are just right. I want you to be able to be successful when sewing these babies up! So this time I’ve been working on the Gathered Clutch (my first pattern that I had ever done – back in 2010) and the Sidekick Tote. I’m so happy with the way they’re turning out. I will be going through again and sending updates to those who already purchased the patterns – so be sure to check your spam folder just in case it ends up there.

My goal is to have them ready by Friday!

I also wanted to jump in and tell you that I’m starting to schedule classes and workshops for my book! I’ve got a great workshop scheduled in Vermont with the quilt shop – Nido. It’s going to be so much fun. We’ve got a book signing and then a two-day workshop. And it’s in Vermont! I’ve never been there, but I hear it’s gorgeous. Anyway, if you live in that area or know someone who does, check it out.

Lastly, I had completely forgotten to chose a winner for the Bengal fabric giveaway. If you don’t happen to win, you can grab some here at Hawthorne Threads. Lately, better late than never, the winner is:

Britta who said “I Love this Pattern! Jeans Would be a Fun fabric to combine! And your Clutch Looks Great! Greetings from Germany”

Hi, just wondering if you’ve ever considered designing a wallet/purse? You know the type to put cash, cards, coins etc in? I’ve been wanting to make one for ages but not sure which pattern to buy – and I know if you designed one it would be fabulous!!
