essential shorts: Make it Perfect pattern parade

A pair of shorts for me! I’m so happy Toni asked me to join in on her pattern parade. I loved her Essential Shorts when they first came out, but it was too cold in these here parts for shorts! Now it’s just right and I’m in need of well fitting and cute shorts.

I grabbed this super cozy double gauze from my stash (I had gotten it from Imagine Gnats a while back). I’m super happy about how soft they turned out, of course! I hope I don’t have to feel too careful with them though. The double gauze it fairly delicate and could get snagged on things. A comfy risk I’m willing to take!
This is a size Small graded to a Medium at the legs. I also shortened them by several inches, just for fun.
I love the front pockets, too.  Such a great detail. Thanks Toni for having me!
Size: Small graded to M at legs
And thanks friends, so glad you like the Poolside Tote pattern as much as I do! I’ll be sharing tester versions as well as others. Oh, and I made another one, too. Couldn’t help it.

Check out the other stops on Toni’s tour as well:
