sidekick testers

I had a great opportunity to work with these lovely women to help me test my Sidekick Tote Pattern.  They are seriously the best testers, very detailed and really helped catch so many things.  For that I am very grateful.  I’ve learned that a smaller handful of testers works best for me, otherwise things tend to feel overwhelming.  So I’d like to show off their creations here:

Darci, you can view her flickr stream here.  I love how she used such happy colors.  Even the back of the bag looks awesome!

June, of JuneBug’s World.  She upcycled some wool gaberdine for the exterior, perfect!!  Read more about her bag here.

Gail, of Probably Actually.  She pulled off yet another beautiful combo, love it with her baby belly.

Aren’t they great?!  I love how the different options make for lots of opportunities for something really unique.  Don’t forget to add yours to the flickr group!

Well, I suppose my next post might be about Sewing Summit, since it’s only a few days away now!

i love the bags! what type and brand of fabrics do you use to make your bags?

    1. Anna says:

The pattern testers used a variety of manufacturer’s prints. I usually like to sew my bags with canvas/home dec weight fabrics. Most of the fabrics I buy are from the following sites:
      pink chalk fabrics
      hawthorne threads
      fabricworm
      fat quarter shop
      and some sellers on etsy

Let me know if that answers your question!

  21. The old geared polo shirts also carried this name, But once the gamers began to use this new design exclusively, The dense, Unpleasant, Rather huge-Sleeved design used became obsolete.
