another Grainline tank

This is the second version of my grainline tank.  You can see the first one I made here.  I decided I definitely needed to go up a couple sizes and I think it turned out pretty well.  A little low in the front, but since I always double layer tanks for whatever reason, it’ll be great.  I really love the fabric, Summerlove by Pat Bravo for Art Gallery Fabrics, the feel of this fabric is amazing.  It’s super soft!

I chose to do french seams, love the clean look of the inside. Don’t get me wrong, I love my serger, but sometimes french seams just are easier!

Hope you all have a great 4th everyone!  We had a blast at the pool last night, it’s been so hot and humid, swimming’s the only way to go.  One of these times I’ll remember to get a few pics.

Very cute. I think I need some summer tops too. I’m down to a couple of old tees and a few tanks. No wonder I’ve been wearing a lot of dresses lately.

Ditto re: the French seams. Just so clean, and no fallout later on. Cute tank!

  14. Awesome. Love the fabric you’ve used. This is such a great pattern for letting the fabric take centre stage! Do you have a narrow hem foot? I use mine for finishing all inner seams- no more French seaming for me XD
