scrappy calendar

Yes, it’s already March, but I just put together my desk calendar for work.  I used this downloadable calendar and simply sewed on scraps from my scrap bin.  I tried to coordinate some of the colors for each month so March gets a green fabric and my February had red.  It was a quick project that really spiffies up my new cubicle!  The bonus is that I can stare at my favorite fabrics whenever I feel like it.

The calendar fits into a cd jewel case, which is quite handy for displaying it (I’m really bad with dates and days of the week). 

I also ran across this awesome photoshop version, I’ll be making that for sure!  What an awesome gift idea.
